Elle Effe Ci
Fiano di Avellino DOCG RiservaPreview
Each year, we vinify the parcels of our vineyards separately, each with unique characteristics determined by its exposure, altitude, and soil. Over time, during our pre-blending tastings, it often happened that a micro-vinification stood out to us in an exceptional way.
It is from the desire to preserve this micro-uniqueness that the Elle Effe Ci project was born, dedicated to our founder, Professor Lorenzo Fonzone Caccese.
Elle Effe Ci will embrace and preserve, whenever it arises, that small batch which has truly captivated us.
The second edition of Elle Effe Ci is the Fiano di Avellino DOCG Riserva 2021: the result of a small parcel in our vineyards in San Potito, whose grapes stood out for their finesse, balance, and expressive depth.

Winemaking and aging
After manual harvesting, the grapes are brought immediately to the winery and placed in cold storage for about 12 hours, to preserve freshness and aromas.
Destemming is gentle, and pressing is soft, in order to respect the integrity of the fruit.
Fermentation takes place in a 10-hectolitre Austrian oak barrel with thick staves, where the wine remains for 24 months.
It is then transferred to stainless steel tanks for 12 months of aging on fine lees, followed by bottling.
After an additional 12 months of bottle aging, the wine is ready to be released.
Organoleptic characteristics
Bright straw yellow with greenish highlights.
The nose is broad and balsamic, with notes of white flowers, yellow-fleshed fruit, and a hint of fresh almond on the finish.
On the palate, it is fresh, juicy, and elegant, supported by a lean, vibrant structure. A pleasant burst of acidity brings energy and tension, suggesting excellent ageing potential.
Pairings
Ideal with structured fish dishes, raw seafood, shellfish, delicate risottos, and white meats.
Also excellent with fresh and semi-soft cheeses.
To best enjoy its character, serve at a temperature between 10 and 12 °C.
