Fiano di Avellino DOCG

Overview

This wine is made with Fiano grapes coming from a vineyard located 600 m. above sea level at Arianiello, in the municipality of Lapio: a small village in the province of Avellino, considered by many a land of choice for this particular grape. The exceptional vocation, soil and climate of the area, and the careful work in the vineyard, ensure a production of high quality.

The vinification is aimed at preserving the entire fragrance and integrity of the grape aroma. The wine obtained is characterized by delicacy and clarity of scents like fresh flowers, herbs and Mediterranean notes, accompanied by softness and good persistence.

VINIFICATION: the grapes are hand-picked and carefully transported to the winery in small perforated crates, then they are selected and softly pressed. The fermentation is carried out at low temperature and lasts for about a month. The wine is aged in stainless steel for five months, with periodical bâtonnage.

CHARACTERISTICS: straw yellow color with green hues, is characterized by delicate floral and fruity aromas reminiscent of citrus, orange blossom, lime, almond paste. The taste is fresh and balanced, viscous and very persistent.

PAIRINGS: ideal for seafood aperitifs, oysters, fish, grilled vegetables.
